Sip..sip....gulp.

-Art by Bella Pilar

Are you all about the lite beer...or would you prefer a quick, slightly painless, shot? Maybe those fancy cocktails are more your thing. I, personally, have a new found love for shooters. Absolutely painless and incredibly delicious. Now don't get confused; a shooter is not the same thing as a shot. Shooters don't make your face pucker up and send searching for immediate relief from the nearest drink; you'll be licking your lips! Served in a 1 - 3 oz glass, spirits, liqueurs, and non-alcoholic mixers are combined to create a potent sweetie. If your sweet tooth is calling your name next time you're out on the town with the girls, I suggest you shoot one of these babies down:

Carmel apple shooter

1/2 oz Bacardi® Big Apple rum
1/2 oz butterscotch schnapps
1 splash cranberry juice

Red headed slut

1 oz peach schnapps
1 oz Jagermeister®
1 splash cranberry juice

Chocolate Cake

1/2 oz Frangelico® hazelnut liqueur
1/2 oz vodka
1 dash of sugar

Buttery Nipple

1/2 shot butterscotch schnapps
1/2 shot Bailey's® Irish cream

Watermelon shooter

<2 align="justify">2 oz pineapple juice
1 oz cranberry juice
1/4 oz sweet and sour mix

Bumble Bee recipe

1/3 oz Kahlua® coffee liqueur

A Song for your Mind

I can't turn down a pretty song; they put my mind at ease and a smile on my face. Coblie Caillat is quickly becoming the mother of all that is sweet and graceful in the music industry. Caillat's gentle voice and playful lyrics in her debut song "Bubbly" warmed our hearts and left our ears aching for more. Check out her new song "Realize". The emotion-filled song is quickly rising in popularity.

Watch Colbie in her new "Realize" music video.

Style Find!

I have to admit that I only check out red carpet events for the fashion statements. Some celebrities are always expected to wow us, but others can certainly surprise us. I recently came across an adorable red carpet ensemble worn by Emmanuelle Chriqui at the 2007 GQ "Men of the Year" party at the Chateau Marmont on December 5, 2007. I was slightly familiar with this gal, but if you're drawing a blank, here's a little refresher. Emmanuelle plays a pretty frequent character on Entourage named Sloan, she's casted in the new drama movie, August, along side Josh Hartnett, and if you can remember verrry far back, she was actually in an episode of Are You Afraid of the Dark. With all that aside, she's incredibly cute and has a refreshingly sweet sense of style. These GQ "Men of the Year" red carpet photos are of Emmanuelle wearing a greek goddess inspired Hera mini dress by Ingwa Melero. The unique neckline and ruched empire waist are quite flattering.

This Hera mini dress by Ingwa Melero is actually available on ShopBop.com at the sale price of 159.50! What a steal! This site offers the dress in a deep wine color. Here are some extra photos.
